Sustainable Living Celebrated at the September Farmers’ Market

Lovely spring weather greeted visitors and patrons to the Boroondara Farmers' Market this morning. In addition to the fabulous fresh food and friendly stallholders, visitors enjoyed live music and interactive displays as part of the Boroondara Sustainability Festival 2016. One of the favourite stalls with children was the yabby fishing stall, where brave kiddies could try their skills at catching a yabby.

Raising money for local causes, the Boroondara Farmers' Market is a joint project of the Rotary Club of Glenferrie and the City of Boroondara.
