Australian Rotary Health, founded by Rotarian Ian Scott and the Rotary Club of Mornington in 1981, is one of the largest independent funders of mental health research in Australia. In addition to mental health research, ARH provides funding for research into a broad range of general health areas, provides scholarships for rural medical and nursing students, as well as indigenous health scholars. Rotary Club of Glenferrie Receives Rotary International Citation
Rotary International has announced that the Rotary Club of Glenferrie has been awarded a Rotary International Presidential Citation with Gold Distinction for 2018-2019 in recognition of outstanding achievement over the year. The award recognises achievements in three specific areas:
- Support and strengthen clubs
- Focus and strengthen humanitarian service
- Enhance public image and awareness
